Dysport, known as 丽舒妥 in Chinese, is produced by the British company Ipsen. Mechanism of Action
Dysport is a highly purified botulinum toxin protein that blocks the transmission of signals from nerve endings, selectively relaxing overly tense muscles.
Facial expressions are created by the contraction of facial muscles. Excessive contraction and aging can cause the skin’s elastic fibers to lose their elasticity, gradually leading to dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines. Post-Treatment Precautions
- Apply a cold compress to the treated area for 30 minutes. Avoid rubbing the face-lifting or wrinkle-removal areas. Do not lie flat for 4-6 hours post-treatment, and keep the head upright.
- Avoid washing the face with hot water or wearing makeup within 24 hours post-treatment.
- Refrain from consuming spicy or stimulating foods within a week after the procedure.
- Avoid using antibiotics for at least two weeks post-treatment.
- Avoid strenuous exercise in the treated area.
- Do not take saunas or hot baths within a week to prevent accelerated drug metabolism.
