Have you ever wondered whether a body sculpting treatment that both burns fat and builds muscle simultaneously existed? If yes, You will be happy to know that this magic is known as EMSculpt. It has been said that EMSculpt is a great way to burn fat and builds muscle that you have been trying to achieve in intense training but were not able to. EMSculpt is a non-invasive procedure that is developed recently by the BTL, an industry leader in body sculpting technologies. If you’ve spent hours at the gym, held to a strict diet, but aren’t seeing the results you’d like for your abs or butt, then EMSculpt is the best option you need to help you achieve your body goals and make you love yourself more. The amazing innovation that makes EMSculpt a great technology for its bodybuilding and slimming powers possible is termed as HIFEM technology. HIFEM stands for “High-Intensity Focused Electra-Magnetic” technology. HIFEM technology forces your muscle tissues into supramaximal contractions that are hardly possible on your own. Supramaximal muscular contraction contains a dual effect on your muscle and fat tissues. It is delivered through EMSculpt’s dual pads that are placed above the skin of the patient’s treatment area.
What is Emsculpt?
EMSculpt is the world’s first device that gives targeted fat reduction and muscle-building results at the same time, all without the requirement for surgery or implants. It has been seen that there are no incisions, no lasers, no downtime, with long-term results after a treatment session that lasts for thirty minutes. Despite what all the expensive exercise machine advertisements say, spot reduction through exercise and dieting is impossible. You’ll spend hours at the gym attempting to try and do many crunches, but the additional inch of fat that resides on the abdomen may never disappear. Earlier, the buttocks were another area of the body that’s well-known for being difficult to sculpt and lift. Although dieting and exercise are essential to your health and appearance, sometimes you merely need an extra bit of help when it involves building the buttocks or shrinking pockets of fat from the stomach. It is an FDA-Approved, electromagnetic procedure that helps in breaking down the fat cells and builds muscles in your abs and butt. All you have to do is lie at your doctor’s office, get attached to a machine, and sit back and relax because it emits electromagnetic pulses that strengthen your muscle fibers and burn unwanted fat. Sounds too good to be true, right?
It has been found that EMSculpt builds muscle and burns fat simultaneously. It does so by emitting electromagnetic pulses that force your muscles to contract about 20,000 times in a bare half-hour (way faster than you’ll make them contract on your own), and successively, strengthens your muscle fibers. The rapid contractions also cause your muscles to release chemicals that tell fat cells within the area to break down. EMSculpt recommends that users do four 30-minute sessions over some time for optimal results.
How does it Work?
Deep muscle stimulation is caused by EMSculpt which uses a High-Intensity Electromagnetic technology. One EMSculpt session induces 20,000 muscle contractions. All this is often to steer clear of any effort on your part. EMSculpt is a mini MRI machine that used therapeutic levels of magnetic fields. According to studies done on EMSculpt, it creates about 19% of muscle development. With the hyper contraction of muscles, the fatty acids on the muscle cells leak and build a 15% fat burn on the highest of muscle building. The fat burn effect from EMScult is more of a residual effect from what the device is doing to the muscles. These studies were conducted with fit patients who weren’t overweight. The treatment doesn’t require anesthesia. Strong muscle response is important to maximize treatment results. During the application, you may feel intense but tolerable muscle contractions within the treated area. There are certain risks related to EMSculpt treatments. They include but don’t seem to be limited to muscular pain, temporary muscle spasm, temporary joint or tendon pain, local erythema or skin redness, and intramuscular fat decrease. The treatment of injured or otherwise impaired muscles is contraindicated.
Recovery
There is no recovery time with the EMSculpt procedure because it is completely non-invasive. There could also be mild muscle fatigue after the session. Typically, you’ll retreat to your daily routine right after the treatment. A successful treatment outcome is often full of smoking or excessive alcohol consumption, similarly to eating disorders or ongoing medication. While no special diet is required, you’re required to eat healthily and drink plenty of water to assist promote and maintain results.
What are the benefits of Emsculpt?
These are a number of the key benefits of EMSculpt that have contributed to the current treatment’s growing popularity.
1) Boosts Metabolism: It boosts the metabolism while eliciting a full remodeling of the system in the targeted area. It not only helps build muscle tissue, but clinical studies found that patients who undergo EMSculpt treatment experience a five-time increase in the metabolic process (apoptotic index increased from 19% to 92% post-treatment.)
2) Non-Invasive: Because EMSculpt could be a safe and completely non-invasive treatment, it’s become a preferred alternative to surgeries that achieve similar results like butt implants, a tummy tuck, and liposuction. Plus, patients don’t need to worry about stitches or scars because it only targets the muscle tissue and not the skin above it.
3) Can Aid In Injury Recovery And Prevention: EMSculpt can help patients healing from certain injuries by strengthening their muscle tissue. It can even be employed in conjunction with physiotherapy to help in speeding up recovery times. EMSculpt is additionally great for taking off a replacement fitness program after a patient has recovered from an injury.
4) Quick Treatment Sessions and Fast Results: Treatments typically last just half-hour, so patients can make appointments over their lunch break. The total regimen of 4 treatments may be completed in a very span of two to a few weeks; many patients begin to determine results immediately after their first treatment session.
5) Zero Recovery Time: One of the nice benefits of EMSculpt is that there’s no recovery time needed after treatment sessions. Patients can continue to do their regular life activities after each session. Additionally, there’s nothing patients have to do beforehand to prepare for treatment.
How to prepare for Emsculpt?
1) The Perfect Candidate: Each patient must consult a specialist to see if the treatment is suitable for his/her physique and weight. The body-sculpting treatment is available for pretty much everyone. However, there are limits to some procedures and treatments. With EMscult, it’s usually recommended to patients who are active and have only some problem areas. Whereas, In CoolSculpting, the patient needs to have enough fat to be suctioned into attachments.
2) Discuss the quantity needed and who will perform them: Consult your healthcare provider concerning the number of treatments needed for your required results. Since most procedures are non-invasive, they will be performed by a healthcare provider. Most healthcare providers are supervised by a physician.
3) Documenting your experience: Don’t forget to make notes about your experience. The experience is like a concept to you. Your notes should include measurements, photos, and your state of mind before and after the procedure. Whether you’re fulfilling a long-term goal otherwise you try to seem good for the summer, this experience should be one you’ll not soon forget.
4) Have pain medication available: With any style of treatment or procedure, you’ll experience pain. it’s best to be prepared for any side effects before the treatment. For chronic pain, get up-to-date along with your respective doctor, they’re going to recommend an appropriate treatment supported by your conditions. Many patients found that very tight clothing after the surgery is comforting. Gather these things well ahead. Before you’re taking any medications or use compression, discuss with a physician.
5) Be productive during downtime: If you have got scheduled treatments for over one area, bring your laptop or a notebook so that you’ll be able to capture your experience there. Some procedures last for a half-hour while others are a touch time-consuming. there’ll be a time in between where you’ll document your experience.
6) What to try and do the day before surgery?
- The day before the treatment, drink a minimum of two liters of water.
- Do not eat two hours before treatment.
- Remove any kind of body lotion you have applied to your body before the treatment.
- Shave any hair near and within the area to be treated.
- Do not drink caffeine or alcohol each day before the treatment.
Comparison with CoolSculpting
CoolSculpting is a treatment that freezes subcutaneous fat by using controlled cooling and hence breaking down the fat cells. The pinchable layer of fat directly under our skin is subcutaneous fat. The patient must have enough subcutaneous tissue within the area of concern so the tissue can effectively be pulled into a vacuum suctioned applicator for treatment.
The treatment doesn’t involve any needles, anesthesia and is noninvasive. It may seem like Emsculpt is sort of the same as CoolSculpting, the popular nonsurgical fat-reduction solution. But the 2 are very different. Unlike Emsculpt, which uses electromagnetic energy to stimulate the muscles and fix up the body, CoolSculpting uses a tool to freeze the subdermal fat cells, which damages them beyond repair.
Then, they are removed from the body through the natural elimination process. It has been said that CoolSculpt is for more fat loss whereas EMSculpt is more for muscle toning. Also, people of all sizes can use CoolSculpting, whereas Emsculpt is best for active people, have a lower body mass index (BMI), and are already at their ideal weight.CoolSculpting’s results are permanent. Emsculpt shouldn’t be used as an alternate to CoolSculpting, because the two offer completely different results. Emsculpt is often a good follow-up treatment to CoolSculpting once the fat has been removed.
How safe is it?
So far, studies have shown no questions of safety. Because it is a brand new technology, some health experts are concerned about its long-term effects. Relatively little is thought about how strong electromagnetic waves could affect or damage internal organs down the road. The safest way to lose fat and build muscle tone is — as you’ll have expected — to hit the gym and eat healthier. However, if you’ve tried to figure off that belly bulge but can’t seem to create a dent, Emsculpt could also be an option worth exploring. Good old-fashioned exercise isn’t effective when trying to urge eliminate certain stubborn areas of fat, possibly due to hormonal and aging changes. So, if you would like to tone your body but don’t have the time or energy for the workouts, Emsculpt could be your ticket to six-pack abs.

Side Effects of Emsculpt
During the procedure, a rubber pad is placed on the area you wish to be toned, which produces electromagnetic waves that leads to involuntary contraction of your muscles, thereby triggering the discharge of free fatty acids, which successively breaks down fat deposits and increases muscle tone. On the upside, it shouldn’t hurt an excessive amount (plus it’s easier than doing a sit-up). EMSculpt may be a completely non-invasive treatment and per se poses little risk of side effects.
The foremost common side effect may be a feeling of muscle soreness, just like the feeling one might feel after an active workout. However, the third phase of EMSculpt treatment is intended to mitigate this soreness by helping to flush lactic acid out of the body. There’s no downtime required after receiving EMSculpt, though if you are doing experience some muscle soreness, you will want to avoid working out for several hours after treatment.
Though EMSculpt doesn’t involve any risks this treatment is not for everybody. Because the EMSculpt machine uses HIFEM® technology, patients with implanted medical devices or metal pieces (such as a pacemaker, screws, or plates) mustn’t undergo this treatment. EMSculpt is not recommended for pregnant ladies or those who have a metal-based IUD {intrauterine device} While no side effects are reported, some experts are worried about how the electromagnetic waves may be damaging the interior organs, and the way that damage will present in later life. Emsculpt may soon become one amongst those secrets your operating surgeon wishes you didn’t comprehend.
Who Are Good EMSculpt Candidates?
Some of the major benefits of this treatment are fat burning, increase in muscle mass, pain reduction, improving joint health, etc. Men and women who are seeking any of those benefits are also good EMScult candidates. The subsequent list includes some patient groups which will get the foremost benefit out of EMSculpt treatments.
EMSculpt is an efficient treatment for those people who are suffering from Diastasis Recti. It has been shown to cut back gaps by 11% in the abdominal muscles caused by this condition. Diastasis recti are most commonly called a condition that affects women who have given birth, but this condition can even be caused by significant weight changes, certain surgeries, or lifting heavy objects incorrectly and may affect both men and women. it’s important to notice that EMSculpt isn’t recommended for ladies during pregnancy. People Looking to spice up their Metabolism – Additionally, to building muscle tissue, EMSculpt boosts metabolism. The results of clinical studies showed a five-time increase in the metabolic process (apoptotic index increased from 19% to 92% post-treatment) in patients who underwent EMSculpt treatments.
EMSculpt Effect on Different Parts of the Body
EMSculpt before and after thighs: EMSculpt isn’t designed to cut back fat- and it’s not a substitute for normal exercise. Rather, patients who are near their ideal weight but who haven’t been ready to improve some bulging areas or excess fat deposits can enjoy EMSculpt. As this is a non-invasive procedure, people can return to their regular activities immediately without downtime. Also, there are no risks involved as compared to surgical procedures. The lower body is usually an issue area for ladies, as fat tends to accumulate therein. When used on thighs, EMSculpt can create a longer, leaner appearance moreover as more balanced contours. It has been found that Emscult can enhance the results of a workout by strengthening muscle areas which are often difficult to accomplish even with intense training sessions. The muscles are activated at a far higher level than they’re during traditional lunges, squats, sit-ups, or other strengthening exercises. The treatment increases muscle development by about 16% in isolated areas, per some estimates.
EMSculpt before and after Glutes: EMSculpt’s HIFEM is the first and only that has been shown to both build muscle and sculpt the body by instigating supramaximal contractions. When EMSculpt is applied on the buttocks, it contracts those gluteus muscles approximately 20,000 times therein half-hour session, which is beyond what an individual can accomplish through exercising. The results are tightened toned buttock. It gives you a little bit of lift. A key good thing about EMSculpt for buttocks treatment is that it provides a clinical result that’s more consistent than aesthetic goals. The evidence shows that EMSculpt treatment applied to gluteal muscles induces hypertrophy and hyperplasia, which seems to create a lift.
EMSculpt Before and After Abs: One 30 minute treatment is similar to doing 20,000 sit-ups! When you treat your Abs with EMSculpt, It strengthens the core muscles which further strengthen back and pelvic muscles. The strengthening of those muscles could help reduce the danger of lower back pain, poor posture, and overall body fatigue. The EMSculpt treatment creates microscopic tears within the muscle tissue; as your muscle tissue repairs and rebuilds itself, there’s a plain increase within the muscle mass. You’ll feel the same quiet soreness after the EMSculpt treatment as you’d within the intense workout. there’s a limit to the results that you simply can do on your own with sit-ups and crunches. EMSculpt works for all of your core muscle groups. These are the four main abdominal groups and their functions:
- Transverse abdominal muscles are the deepest muscle layer and stabilize the trunk.
- Rectus abdominis muscles run between the ribs and therefore the pelvic bone and are the “bumps and bulges” that make the “six-pack look”.
- External oblique muscles are on all sides of the rectus abdominis and permit the trunk to twist.
- Internal Oblique muscles partner with the external oblique muscles in allowing the trunk to twist. It also flanks the rectus muscles.
EMSculpt Before and After Stomach: Here’s a review from “X” after she got an EMSculpt done on her stomach: “ I first noticed a change in my waistline after the second session- I had three in total three days apart. And over time, the effects became more noticeable.”
The EMSculpt machine not only strengthens the muscles in the hard-to-target abs but also breaks down fat in that area. According to scientists, it does work. Clinical studies show you can reduce your tummy fat by 19 percent of four sessions in two weeks and increase muscles by 16 percent in size with an average waist reduction of 4 cm.
In her photos, you can see the difference in the before and after shots. In her before photos, her stomach is protruding but after three sessions, it’s much flatter. She didn’t measure the cms lost but you can see the difference in the photos. She looks like she is holding her stomach in, but she’s not.
She says, “ Now I might still eat quite a bit but at least my stomach is flat and firm and not flabby. I am happier with how I look and feel in a bikini. I find you hold yourself better because you got actual muscles to hold your abdomen in. It has done something to the fat too as the stomach is flatter.”
EMSculpt Before and After 1 Treatment: At the first appointment, patients will have photos of the treatment area taken to benchmark progress. The first step often involves securing the applicator to the treatment area and then the process begins! Each treatment takes 20-40 minutes looking at the area. you’ll begin to feel results immediately after Emsculpt. These are small changes, like posture improvements of decreased fatigue during exercise. Most patients can notice the visible results after three months post-treatment, and then they also maintain their results with their maintenance plans. The studies have shown that the results of EMSculpt can improve up to 6 months. If you work out once and never return to the gym, those muscle atrophy, and therefore the same is true for muscle mass gained by Emsculpt. you can expect to keep your results for 6 months to a year, but it’s recommended that you simply keep these results up with a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise.
EMSculpt Before and After Arms: Emsculpt uses electromagnetic energy to focus on muscles and induce what’s called supramaximal contractions. By figuring out the muscles at rates far greater than is feasible with regular exercise, Emsculpt can encourage growth and strengthening of muscle tissue. It is not just used for abs and bums but can be used for arms. It is an FDA-approved device that burns fat within arms and safely and steadily increases body strength The team strapped small paddles on to arms, the primary biceps for about half-hour then triceps, and the machine went to work. It’s a cycle of intense tapping and buzzing, from time to time jerking arms involuntarily but steadily. Not painful, but gives an odd sensation. Throughout 4 treatments in a time, Emsculpt was the equivalent of 20,000 bicep curls and tricep presses. far more efficient than 16 weeks at the gym. Some people share their reviews on EMSculpt – “While sore the day after each treatment (feeling like I had done an intense arm workout) there was no lingering discomfort. And while I didn’t see immediate results, I felt stronger shortly. Like picking up a large box that was too heavy for me two weeks ago with ease. It was undeniable.”
What to Expect After EMSculpt?
Imagine if there was a treatment where you’ll lie on a table for half-hour and have a machine exercise your muscles. EMSculpt not only strengthens muscles but also breaks down the fat. It would sound like fantasy, but because of scientific innovation, this wish has been granted and it’s called EMSculpt. This revolutionary treatment is non-invasive and here’s perhaps the most effective part – it requires zero downtime.
1) EMSculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic {HIFEM} which burns fat and builds muscle at the same time. Abdominal and gluteal muscles are forced to contract through this process. The abdomen and buttocks are strengthened, toned by this intense activity. It also destroys localized fat pockets.
2) The studies have found that you can see Fat Reduction And Muscle Toning in 3-4 weeks. Patients have achieved optimal strengthening and toning in four weeks of sessions. In as little as three-to-four weeks after your last session, you may note visible definition within the abdomen and lift within the buttocks.
3) The procedure of EMSculpt is painless. Patients sit back and relax while the device does all the work. The following day, you’ll feel some muscle soreness, like you’ve just completed a rigorous workout.
4) Treatment Time is a half-hour, in less time than your average gym session or exercise class, EMSculpt can take you closer to the 6-pack you’ve always wanted.
5) EMSculpt Has zero side effects apart from temporary muscle soreness, there aren’t any known side effects of EMSculpt. Similar non-invasive body contouring treatments may result in redness, swelling, bruising, and numbness. With EMSculpt, patients leave their appointment free of these signs and may even brag their abdomen or exercise that very same day.
6) EMSculpt is often considered safe because it has undergone comprehensive clinical testing and it has been deemed safe by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
7) The procedure of Emsculpt is similar to doing 20,000 crunches or squats. But EMSculpt not only stimulates supramaximal contractions but also this activity is additionally much stronger than what we will achieve with even the foremost intense physical training.
8) There’s No Pre-Treatment Planning or Prep Emsculpt truly is a simple and worry-free treatment, without prep, pain, side effects, or downtime.
9) EMSculpt is the First and Only Non-Invasive Butt Lift Emsculpt’s ability to thicken gluteal muscles and achieve a rounder, firmer buttocks, makes it the world’s first and only non-invasive butt lift. Accordingly, EMSculpt is a superb alternative to surgical or injectable butt augmentation.
10) It costs more than Other Body Contouring Treatments but some other body contouring treatments can require numerous and expensive cycles to equal one treatment of the abdomen, EMSculpt gets the work done in one application. This implies that EMSculpt is often rather more cost-effective than other options.
Cost of EMSculpt
The expense of EMSCULPT relies upon how much muscle building and fat decrease you would like, the number of regions you want to treat, and also the number of treatments needed to accomplish your objective. Each individual’s physique and objectives for EMSculpt are unique. In this way, the number of treatments is distinctive for each individual.
For example, EMSculpt for the midsection may require four treatments over about fourteen days to accomplish wanted outcomes or 8 treatments over a couple of months and a half. Since every individual’s objectives are extraordinary, you’ll have to demand a free EMSculpt meeting to choose the expense to accomplish your objectives.
How Effective is EMSculpt?
EMSculpt is normally used by people for a pair of goals, for instance- to trim their stomachs and produce much firmer, rounder rear ends. EMSculpt helps to attain these dual results by simultaneously burning fat and building muscle. In this way, it’s like performing cardiovascular and strength training exercises directly, only without sweating.
The way EMSculpt works to provide these effects is by triggering the muscles to contract on their own much more rapidly than you may ever contract them. Described by a minimum of one dermatologist as a mini MRI machine, the EMSculpt unit exerts high-intensity focused electromagnetic pulses that spur your muscles to contract involuntarily at a way more vigorous pace than you’ll ever achieve with voluntary contractions, like from physical exertion. When performing a stomach crunch or a leg squat, for instance, you activate approximately half the muscles in your body every few seconds.
With EMSculpt, you activate all of your muscles at once, and you are doing it 20,000 times over half-hour. Two results are produced at the same time through these rapid contractions that are strengthening muscle fibers which cause them to release certain chemicals that help in breaking down fat cells. When you exercise your muscles intensely, you feel tapping and buzzing sensations because when you exercise, they produce a lactic acid which might produce unwanted side effects like stomach-aches, muscle aches, rapid breathing, etc. if it is not properly and adequately de-escalated.
In an EMSculpt treatment, the buzzing sensations contract the muscles similarly to how they are doing during exercise, similarly releasing lactic acid. The tapping sensations then help break the lactic acid apart so it doesn’t cause any unwanted side effects. So effective has EMSculpt proved to be for reducing belly fat and strengthening abdominal muscles that the corporate reports plan to supply new EMSculpt machines targeting other parts of the body, like the inner thighs and upper arm perhaps. It works effectively for both women and men.
Conclusion
By now it should be obvious why body sculpting treatments like this are getting increasingly popular. they’re non-invasive, quick, almost painless, and provide proven results while CoolSculpting, Kybella, and other treatments work to melt away fat, EMSculpt is the only 1 that builds muscles within the process.
If you would like an answer for fat that won’t escape regardless of how often you exercise or how well you eat, this unique treatment could also be just what you’ve been searching for. This procedure can blast through stubborn fat to assist tone and reveal the muscles you’ve got worked so hard to develop.
A study published within the Journal of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in May 2019 examined the feasibility of using EMSculpt to enhance the looks and shape of the buttocks.
A study was done where it was found that 21 women used EMSculpt for four 30 minute sessions. Patients were asked about the discomfort. It was found that no one experienced discomfort during treatment. Also, the study used independent evaluators that observed photos of patients during the treatment. The independent evaluators concluded that EMSculpt was a viable alternative to more invasive procedures and not only improved the shape and volume of the buttocks but also reduced the sagging of the skin and underlying tissues.
